Your Y, Your Way Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan — Public Comment Period Open

Yavapai County’s transportation needs continue to change as communities grow and residents of all ages seek reliable ways to access healthcare, employment, education, childcare, and other essential services. The Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan identifies existing transportation resources, areas where service gaps remain, and opportunities to improve coordination and mobility throughout the YPlan region.

We invite residents, transportation providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to review the plan and share their feedback using the public comment form below.

New Look, Same Great Mission & Vision

Vision

To promote and maintain a regional coordinated transportation system for the safe and efficient movement of people, goods, and services.

Mission

To use regional leadership in planning and promoting a comprehensive multi-modal transportation system.

Why the rebrand?

This is more than just a name change. It’s a reflection of our expanded commitment, our growing responsibilities, and our forward-looking vision for greater Yavapai County. While our name is new, our foundation is stronger than ever. Our core mission to facilitate effective, collaborative transportation planning hasn’t changed—it has been supercharged.

Our newly expanded boundary now covers 6,000+ square miles!

As our service area has expanded, YPlan gives us an identity that embraces our entire region and supports a more collaborative, future-focused approach to planning.

Your Region.
Your Voice.
Your YPlan.

Yavapai Plan is the new name for greater Yavapai County’s regional planning organization—formerly CYMPO. The rebrand reflects our expanded role and a clearer, more accessible identity.

We bring together Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, Yavapai County, and ADOT to cooperatively plan roads, transit, bike paths, and pedestrian pathways. As our communities grow, we make sure your transportation options grow with them.

Getting where you need to go shouldn’t be complicated.
